Prof. Francesca di Mare was invited to participate in a roundtable discussion with representatives from the Piedmont Region, German and Italian industry associations, and institutional stakeholders in the context of the Roundtable Discussion on Economic Relations between the Piedmont Region and the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, held on 4 June 2026 at the Italian Embassy in Berlin. Discussions focused on key innovation sectors, including artificial intelligence, aerospace and semiconductors.
The roundtable of the aerospace working group provided an opportunity to explore common challenges and strengthen economic ties between Piedmont, one of Italy’s leading aerospace regions, and North Rhine-Westphalia, among Germany’s most important centers for research, innovation, and industrial development.
